There’s no shortage of outstanding college football matchups on the menu this Saturday and perhaps none are bigger than Ohio State-Penn State at The Shoe.
This week, the guys over at 247Sports gave their exact score predictions for the highly-anticipated Big Ten matchup and it sounds like we could be in for some must-see TV. Penn State enters the game +4.5 and both Brad Crawford and Chris Hummer see this one staying within a field goal.
Writes Hummer:
These games are usually close. In fact, four of the last seven matchups between these two teams have been decided by three points or fewer. If you were going to build a team designed to stop Ohio State’s offense, it’d probably look like Penn State. … But I have similar questions about PSU’s offense … Were this game happening in Happy Valley, I might pick differently. But I expect Ryan Day to stay unbeaten in Big Ten play against teams not named Michigan. … Ohio State 27, Penn State 24.
#BradsBets for Week 8 (33-23-1 ATS season, 4-4 LW)
Auburn +6.5
Wake Forest -1That’s all I like, for now.

Crawford is also taking the points in a tightly-contested ball game OSU 27 – PSU 24.
One of the last remaining teams unbeaten against the spread this season, the Nittany Lions can make a national statement on the road in Columbus this weekend. The matchup I anticipate deciding the game is Drew Allar and Penn State’s wideouts against the Buckeyes’ secondary. Both of these defenses rank among the stingiest in college football, but when might see a few explosive plays given the talent both possess on the other side of the football. I’ll take the points with Penn State here. … Ohio State 27, Penn State 24.
Who do you see walking out of Ohio Stadium with a win this weekend?
