Week 4 of the college football season features an absolutely loaded slate.
One of the premier matchups on the docket is Iowa-Penn State in primetime from Happy Valley. Not only is it a battle between 3-0 ranked Big Ten teams, it’s also Penn State’s annual “White Out” game.
The Nittany Lions are coming off a thorough 30-13 beatdown of Illinois in Week 3. New starting quarterback Drew Allar has looked the part so far, with 737 passing yards and four touchdowns, while the 1-2 running back punch of Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton is one of the best in the country.
As for Iowa, they routed Western Michigan 41-13 on Saturday after opening the year with wins over Utah State and Iowa State. Can the Hawkeyes’ offense keep up with Penn State? We’re about to find out.
The early prediction for this showdown, according to ESPN Analytics, gives the clear edge to the Nittany Lions.
Penn State has an 86.8% of winning, compared to Iowa’s 13.2%, per the ESPN computer.
Penn State and Iowa will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday night from Beaver Stadium.
