Illinois is giving Penn State everything it can handle on Saturday afternoon.
Weird things always happen when these two teams play and this game is no different. The Nittany Lions were only up 16-7 on the Fighting Illini heading into halftime.

Their offense struggled to turn drives into touchdowns, which is evidenced by the three Alex Felkins field goals. Their lone touchdown was scored by Kaytron Allen.
In contrast, the Nittany Lions’ defense has played extremely well. They forced three turnovers (two interceptions and a fumble) and have limited the Fighting Illini to just one touchdown.
If the defense can keep it up and the offense can make adjustments, the Nittany Lions could potentially run away with this thing in the second half.
The Nittany Lions are trying to get to 3-0 overall, while the Fighting Illini are trying to get to 2-1.
You can watch the second half on FOX. Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt are on the call.
