Harvinson joins a talented Pitt running back room
The Pittsburgh Panthers are not done yet with their 2023 recruiting class. Israel Abanikanda has still yet to announce his decision for next year between returning or declaring for the NFL Draft. Vincent Davis and C’Bo Flemister still currently lead a stable running back room, but in the transfer portal era, are not guaranteed to return in 2023. The Panthers went out and continued to add talent to the room and have picked up a commitment from three-star running back T.J. Harvison.

Harvison updated his Twitter bio and added Pitt to it. Harvison is a 6’1 power style running back that had offers from Ole Miss, Kentucky, Michigan State, and Colorado among numerous offers. Harvison is riding high off a stellar senior season with 2,026 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns that resulted in a state championship.

Harvison is currently the 71st-ranked running back in the country and 105th ranked recruit out of the state of Georgia according to 247 Sports. Harvison joins fellow three-star running back Montravius Lloyd as running back commitments for the class of 2023 that currently ranks 53rd in the country.
