The fight for bowl eligibility is still on. Six is the magic number to hit and the Panthers can not take any game for granted with how this season has gone so far. Next up is a road game against Virginia that the Panthers will be favorites in. The Pitt Panthers have fallen short of their goals and fan expectations, but not qualifying for a bowl would be about as disappointing of a season that could happen. With Duke and Miami the following matchups, the Panthers have to take care of business in the games they are expected to win to ensure missing a bowl does not happen.
