The Pitt linebacker takes another step in making his decision for 2023
Pittsburgh Panthers linebacker SirVocea Dennis is one of the key players on the Pitt roster as an impact player and defensive captain. While Dennis has not made an official announcement on his decision to return to school in 2023, this seems to indicate that he will be playing on Sundays. The linebacker officially accepted an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama according to the event’s Twitter account.

Dennis was a two-star linebacker out of Syracuse, New York in the 2019 class. The linebacker was a great example of how hard work and dedication outweighed the star rating. Dennis went on to be a team captain, first-team All-ACC, and now caps it off with a Senior Bowl invite.
During the 2022 season, Dennis was involved in all aspects of the game and his versatility shined. The captain led the team with 74 tackles on the year, along with 9.5 tackles for loss, 29 pressures, six sacks, three pass breakups, and forced a fumble. Dennis put together his best season according to PFF, the 90.6 PFF grade was good for fourth among linebackers as he made PFF All-American third team.
If this is the end it’s been an incredible success story. In his career at Pitt, Dennis has amassed 212 tackles, 33.5 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, two interceptions, three pass breakups, a forced fumble, and three defensive touchdowns.
