We open up NHL predictions as the Vegas Golden Knights take on the Columbus Blue Jackets. Vegas is projected to go with Adin Hill in between the pipes for this one. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Knights are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games, but have dropped the last two games in a row. Tomas Hertl has posted 27 goals and 25 assists for the Golden Knights.
Elvis Merzlikins is the confirmed starter for the Blue Jackets, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. Columbus is one of the feel-good stories on the season, as it holds the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. Zach Werenski has provided 20 goals with 49 assists for the Blue Jackets.
Both teams are looking for a win, but Vegas gets the victory.
Prediction: Golden Knights win 3-2.
New York Rangers vs Minnesota Wild

TV: Fan Duel North; Fan Duel Sports Wisconsin; MSG; ESPN+
The second game of NHL predictions has the New York Rangers visiting the Minnesota Wild. Igor Shesterkin is the expected starter for the Rangers, who are two points off the second wild card spot in the East. The Blueshirts have picked a bad time to lose four in a row and have a 4-4-2 mark in the last 10 games. J.T. Miller has been averaging over a point of game as of late with five goals and added seven assists over the past 10 games for New York.
Filip Gustavsson is likely to get the start for Minnesota, which is 5-5 in the last 10 games prior to this matchup. The Wild have fallen out of one of the three automatic Central Division playoff spots, but are still comfortably in a post-season spot. Former Rangers player Mats Zuccarello has totaled 15 goals and 26 assists for Minnesota.
Both teams are in search of points, but the Wild stay on track with a win.

Prop Bets of the Night
We finish out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay on our featured game for our props. For Washington, we think Ovechkin gets a goal to draw closer to Wayne Gretzky. On the Los Angeles side, go with Trevor Moore to get the over on 0.5 points.
