A pair of long awaited career milestones were checked off the list for two all-time Pittsburgh Penguins legends in a 6-5 overtime victory against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night. First up was Sidney Crosby crossing the 1,600 point mark with an assist on a Bryan Rust goal in the first period. Then it was Evgeni Malkin notching his 500th career goal with a third period tally.
