Crosby missed the Penguins’ last two games before the international break.
With just over 48 hours until Team Canada takes the ice for the opening game of the 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament, it’s still unclear whether Sidney Crosby is going to be playing yet or not.
Crosby, who was picked to captain Team Canada, did take the ice for practice on Monday morning.

Crosby missed the Penguins’ last two games before the international break against the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers after suffering an upper-body injury earlier in the week against the New Jersey Devils.
Penguins president and general manager Kyle Dubas, who also is an assistant GM for Team Canada said the decision as to whether or not Crosby will play will be one “that is in his best interest.”
Team Canada, with or without Crosby, will face Erik Karlsson, Rickard Rakell, and the rest of Team Sweden in the opening game of the tournament on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Projected lines for Team Sweden have Karlsson pairing a second defensive unit next to Gustav Forsling and Rakell on the fourth line with Viktor Arvidsson and Leo Carson.
