Former Pirates All-Star pitcher Bob Veale, part of 1971 World Series champions, dies at 89

Former left-handed pitcher Bob Veale, who played parts of 11 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates and was a member of its 1971 World Series club, died Tuesday at the age of 89.
