PiratesFest will be held on January 18 and 19 downtown.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are bringing PiratesFest back to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in 2025.
After a few cycles of being held at PNC Park, the Pirates moved the festivities back to the convention center last year.
Typically held on one day, the Pirates are making PiratesFest a weekend affair with events on two separate days in mid-January.
The Pirates announced not long ago that PiratesFest will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, and Sunday, January 19. Season ticket holders will have early access at 9 a.m. on both days and special perks.
Admission is free, but ticket requests must be submitted to the Pirates to secure a spot in the fan fest. While tickets are available, full details of who will be in attendance and what plans the Pirates have for the two days have not been released.
The events page claims, “Autograph session tickets and schedule will be released in early January,” and mentions that autographs/meet and greets for kids 14 and younger will be free.
The Pirates announced that all-day programming will commence on the main stage, including Q-and-A sessions, leaving the door opening for the ever popular Ask Pirates Management segment that fires up fans every offseason.
Pirates event staff members have yet to release the full schedule and should arrive any day with the festivities in two weeks.
