Adam Frazier is coming back to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are bringing back a familiar face, according to MLB insider Jon Heyman.
Adam Frazier to the Pirates. One-year Major League contract
Frazier, 33, began his career with the Pirates from 2016-21, slowly improving every season before being named an All-Star in his final year with Pittsburgh.
The Pirates were sellers at the deadline that year, and with his value at an all-time high, the team traded him to the San Diego Padres.
Since then, Frazier hasn’t been the same and he has turned into a baseball journeyman, playing for the Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals.
Now, Frazier hopes to get some of the Buccos magic back into his game as he returns to where it all began for him in the big leagues.
