Where do Bucs fans have the Pirates pegged to finish?
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Pittsburgh Pirates fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Buccos kick off the Spring Training games today, and that’s a good time to come out of with our SB Nation Reacts results, which are brought to you by FanDuel.
We wanted to ask you this week where you thought the Pirates would finish the NL Central. In the past, we’ve asked for records, but this year, we’re simplifying it and just asked you to pick where you thought the Bucs would finish. Last year, the Bucs were 76-86, which was last in the NL Central. Here’s what you thought for this year:

There you have it. The vast majority of you — 41 percent — felt the Bucs are headed for last place again. Interestingly enough, 19 percent of voters are tabbing the Pirates for first or second place. That’s a little high, in my opinion, but third or fourth is certainly doable, particularly if the starting rotation is as good as we think they will be.
Let’s check in with our good friends over at FanDuel and what they’re thinking. They currently have the Bucs at +1200 for winning the division. So if you’re part of the 9 percent that thinks it’s going to happen, put up $100 and if the Pirates indeed come through, you’re taking home $1200. If you’re really feeling adventurous, the Bucs are +7500 as the National League winner and +12000 to win the World Series. They’re also +980 to win 90 games. If you got the confidence and a Benny burning a hole in your pocket, those are some pretty big payouts.
Make sure you check out the full MLB odds over at FanDuel, and we’ll be back soon with more Reacts questions. Thanks for voting!
