The season is just around the corner and the Pirates are pretty light in some position groups.

Yes, I know the jokes write themselves with the Buccos, but ownership isn’t an option on the polls, ‘cause we all know that would win. But what is on the polls are the two position groups the Buccos seem to need the most. First is relief pitching, which was supposed to be a strength last year but wound up being a weakness. David Bednar and Colin Holderman are back after both struggling for a stretch last season, but the Bucs are noticeably light on significant bullpen arms.
The other possibility is outfield, where Oneil Cruz and Bryan Reynolds are penciled in to the Opening Day roster, but after that, it’s Andrew McCutchen, Josh Palacios, Ji Hwan Bey or Jack Suwisnki and that’s it on the 40-man.
So what’s the bigger need in your opinion? Bullpen or outfield?
Thanks for voting and we’ll be back next week with the results.
