The injury bug has bitten the Pittsburgh Steelers’ interior defensive line hard this past few weeks. First, the Steelers put key backup nose tackle Montravius Adams on IR and on Sunday, starter Keeanu Benton went out with an unspecified injury.
With only four days until the Steelers travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Cleveland Browns this week, they have no legitimate nose tackle on the roster. If for some reason Benton cannot go, we don’t feel confident with Dean Lowry as the team’s primary interior defender. The team does have Breiden Fehoko on the practice squad and here are seven guys on other NFL practice squads to consider.
