Colin Cowherd likes what he sees on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster.
Cowherd spoke about the Steelers during Friday’s edition of The Herd and thinks that head coach Mike Tomlin needs to win 12 games this season with the amount of talent he has on the roster.
“Russell Wilson may not know this but Mike Tomlin needs to win games this year. That offense between Warren and Harris, those receivers, that tight end, they addressed their offensive line I thought very smartly, they already have a good defense, I gotta see 11-12 wins here,” Cowherd said.
“This is a very good roster. I thought they had another excellent draft, then they get Russell Wilson. Justin Fields is on a short list with Michael Penix as the best backup. I gotta see W’s. I don’t care how good the division (AFC North) is. I need 12 (wins).”

This is a team that has higher expectations this year after the aggressive moves they made during free agency.
Outside of revamping the quarterback room, they signed linebacker Patrick Queen to a big contract to fill a void at inside linebacker. They also brought in Cameron Johnston to be their new punter and DeShon Elliott to have some more depth at safety.
This is an organization that’s not happy about the lack of playoff wins over the last several years and they’re trying to end that streak.
