The Steelers WR wasn’t interested in talking
The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a mini-bye week after playing the Cleveland Browns last Thursday night in a 24-19 loss. It was the Steelers’ first loss since Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys. The result was just as talked about as the aftermath, though. On the final play, Russell Wilson launched a Hail Mary to the end zone. George Pickens and Greg Newsome proceeded to have a full on brawl after the play that had to be broken up by teammates, officials, and security on the field. Pickens was asked about the incident on Friday, to which he gave a very Marshawn Lynch-esc answer.
“I’m just here right now so I won’t get fined,” Pickens said.

Pickens lack on interest in speaking to the media has been evident all season. He had to answer questions about what looked like a punishment earlier this season when he had limited snaps against the Cowboys after reportedly being constantly late. However, he has played incredibly well ever since, climbing to be one of the league-leaders in receiving yards. They’ll need a big game from No. 14 to counteract the dynamic attack of Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase on Sunday.
