A NASA pilot showed how much of a Pittsburgh Steelers fan he was recently.
Nils Larson was flying the NASA T-34C while wearing a Steelers-themed helmet. You can see the logo visible while he’s flying the plane.
Pilot helmet or football helmet? ✈️ 🏈

It’s awesome getting to see someone do something he loves while repping his favorite football team.
He’ll be excited for this season as the Steelers have made a lot of moves over the offseason, including signing Russell Wilson and trading for Justin Fields. They completely revamped their quarterback room after how bad it was last year.
They also signed linebacker Patrick Queen to a big deal as they’ve been looking for a new inside linebacker for a long time.
The Steelers made the playoffs this past season but lost to the Buffalo Bills in the wild-card round. They’ve gone eight years without winning a playoff game, which is an eternity for the franchise.
This is a team that’s known for winning playoff games and Super Bowls.
They’ll try and put an end to those droughts this upcoming season since the fans and the organization are growing a little impatient.
