One thing is certain about Justin Fields as he heads into his first training camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s definitely in shape.
A shirtless photo of Fields during or after a weight room session is making the rounds on social media, and the 2021 first-round pick looks yoked up.
Of course, there’s some engagement farming going on with this picture of Fields, and being in peak physical condition doesn’t guarantee anything in regards to performance as an NFL quarterback.
Still, the 25-year-old is putting in the work, which is always a welcome sign.

The Steelers acquired Fields from the Chicago Bears in an offseason trade, surrendering a conditional sixth-round pick.
Pittsburgh also declined Fields’ fifth-year option, so the former Ohio State star is eligible to become a free agent after the 2024 season. Wilson, who was signed to a one-year veteran’s minimum contract in free agency, is set to be the Steelers’ QB1, but Fields has been adamant about pushing for the job.
“I’m definitely competing. Russ knows that… we’re competing against each other everyday,” Fields said during the spring. “I definitely don’t have the mindset of me just sitting all year. I’m coming in everyday giving it all I got and pushing him to be his best and he’s pushing me to be my best each and everyday.”
