The Steelers are very thin at edge rusher
The Pittsburgh Steelers have already been hit hard by injuries this season. Multiple long-term injuries on the offensive line to Isaac Seumalo, James Daniels, and Troy Fautanu have made for several different combinations up front through five games. On the other side, the Steelers have seen several edge rushers go down in the last three weeks.
Alex Highsmith was injured against the Los Angeles Chargers and has missed the last two games, and he’ll miss his third straight game on Sunday. Nick Herbig will also be out after injuring his hamstring against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5. And on top of that, Pittsburgh’s fourth edge rusher is gone for the season.
Now, DeMarvin Leal has been placed on IR with a neck injury, and his season is expected to be over.

The Steelers are incredibly thin at edge rusher, with Jeremiah Moon expected to be the one starting opposite of T.J. Watt in Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
