You like AFC North football? The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens offered just about the most “AFC North” football game ever in Week 11 — a typical physical, chippy and emotionally charged game. Tensions were high on both sidelines, with plenty of back-and-forth in the chatter department, including several penalties that could lead toward disqualification on both sides of the ball. Typical.
Regardless, after 60 minutes of action, the Steelers walked away with the win, improving to 8-2 and strengthening their lead in the AFC North over the 7-4 Baltimore Ravens.
It was unquestionably the worst game of the season for both Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson. Jackson, heavily favored to win NFL MVP for the 2024-25 season ahead of this matchup, was held to 207 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT while being limited to just 46 yards on the ground — it marked just his third interception all season. Wilson, meanwhile, threw for 205 yards and an interception, taking four sacks on the day with little momentum or continuity throughout. Thanks to the kicking game and the Steelers’ ability to generate turnovers on defense, however, it didn’t matter.
Nick Herbig forced a fumble on the opening possession, recovered by former Raven DeShon Elliott. Former Raven Patrick Queen forced a fumble (and recovered) just ahead of halftime. Then, rookie Payton Wilson forced the final turnover of the game — a jaw-dropping, “gimme that” interception that will go down as one of the more incredible defensive plays we’ll see all season:

Kicking dominated the day — good news for the Steelers, bad news for the Ravens, as Steelers kicker Chris Boswell totaled went 6-for-6 on field goal attempts, while Baltimore legend Justin Tucker missed two crucial kicks from 47 and 50 yards. In Week 11, Boswell officially been the first kicker to make three field goals of 50+ yards in a single game at Acrisure Stadium (formerly Heinz Field), drilling it in from 52, 57 and 50.
