The Steelers’ running back was frustrated with the penalties
Despite the Pittsburgh Steelers being 2-0 after a 13-6 win over the Denver Broncos, there are a lot of things that need cleaning up. Specifically, penalties are killing the Steelers’ offense. Pittsburgh had multiple penalties negate big plays and potential touchdowns, to which running back Najee Harris exhibited clear frustration.
“It’s tough for the running backs but sh*t, we just have to execute on these passes,” Harris said. “It’s the same sh*t. We just have to execute. We aren’t being conservative. We are just f***ing ourselves. We make a play and get a penalty that pushes us back and gets us off schedule. The plays you want to run you can’t run anymore because it is 2nd and 12.”
Steelers RB Najee Harris wasn’t thrilled after the game, most notably with the unforced errors:

It’s hard to disagree with Harris. Multiple big passes were called back because of penalties. George Pickens caught a 51 yard ball that was called back because of a Broderick Jones hold. Pickens had a touchdown negated because of offensive pass interference on Van Jefferson. Calvin Austin had a third down conversion brought back because of a Dan Moore hold. Pittsburgh needs to clean this up.
