With Super Bowl LIX officially behind us, the NFL offseason is rolling fast. The NFL Scouting Combine is right around the corner (February 27, 2025 – Sunday, March 2, 2025), followed almost immediately by the start of free agency and the draft will follow soon after. Kicking it all off — the NFL Combine!
So, for our first “Terrible Towel Talk” prompt of the year, I want to hear your thoughts on how NFL fans, analysts and execs should approach the NFL combine… and its usefulness in today’s age of widespread information. Let’s hear your thoughts:
- What are the most important things NFL fans, analysts and execs can learn at the combine every year when it comes to evaluating prospects?
- What aspect of the NFL combine is most overrated when it comes to evaluating prospects, either by the general public or NFL front offices?
